Stealth 1000 watt by Cyclotricity
The Stealth 1000 watt bike is one for the thrillseekers! With the option to use the 1000 watt mode where it is safe and legal to do so, you can unlock the full power of the bike.
When you are back in the town, restrict the bike back to it’s default of 250 watts for a safe and legal commute or casual ride.
Who would love the Stealth 1000 watt by Cyclotricity?
The Stealth 1000 watt is going to be loved by anyone who wants a little extra power for off road rides. Thanks to the 10000W brushless and gearless hub motor it can reach up to 50km/h. You can restrict it to the UK/EU regulations by using the 250 w and 25km/h mode.
If you are someone who would use a bike for off road country adventures as well as the work commute and casual rides with the family this is a versatile and powerful option.
Where can you ride the Stealth 1000 watt by Cyclotricity
The Stealth 1000 watt is a bike capable of handling various terrains. You’ll comfortably be able to cycle on the following:
- Cycle paths
- Cities and towns
- Off road
- Country lanes
- Private land
What’s great about the Stealth 1000 watt bike?
The Stealth 1000w has 5 levels of power mode, which you can set depending on how much assistance you need on a ride. You will be able to set the modes and control de-restriction settings on the LCD dashboard. You’ll also be able to see the distance, power output, speed and time to keep track of your ride stats.
The Stealth 1000 watt bike has a range of 20 or 25 miles, depending on whether you choose the 12Ah or the 16Ah. Remember, the range will depend on factors such as weight of the rider, terrain, stops/starts and tyre pressure. These figures are also calculated on using the 250 w restricted mode, not the thrill seeking 1000w option.
What else should I know about the Stealth 1000 watt bicycle?
If you ever wondered whether or not you can de-restrict your 1000w e-bike to go faster than the usual 25km/h speed limit and use it off-road, oh boy you’re in for a treat! The ever so popular Stealth now comes in a new power boosted version allowing you to cruise at 50km/h given its 48V 1000W e-bike system.
The UK/EU regulations dictate that an e-bike must not exceed the rated power of 250W to be road-legal. Which is not great news for the thrill-seekers, power-hungry among us who want to have the occasional fun off-road yet still be able to ride sensibly and legally on-road. A purchase of the common high powered 1000w electric bike will come with its legal implications. On the other hand, the practicality of a road-legal e-bike means giving up the fun one could have off-road. So which do you choose?
CycloTricity have set out to resolve this dilemma and have introduced the first 1000w electric bike range that combine both configurations! We have developed a unique system that allows the user to swap between two modes depending on whether you are on-road or off-road, allowing you to unlock the full power where it is safe and legal to do so.
Please note that this is not the same as a de-restriction switch which has been questionable from a legal standpoint.
If you are after maximum exhilaration, fun and speed in an off-road environment, look no further! This is the first e-bike that can offer 1000W worth of thrill, yet still capable of being reconfigured for safe road-legal journeys.
- 1000W brushless and gearless rear hub motor (comes restricted to the UK/EU regulation of 250W power and 25km/h speed by default. Reaches up to 50km/h once de-restricted to the 1000W mode.)
- LCD dashboard showing power output, Speed, Time, journey Distance etc and ability to control the de-restriction settings.

Customer ReviewsWrite a review
My second electric bike. It’s a decent enough bike but I would say the gears and brakes on my £400 vitus mtb are better. The big attraction of this bike is the ability to get 1000w out of a motor labelled 250w. So it’s pretty quick - about 50 kph tops on the flat with some pedalling to assist. Noticeably more poke on the hills than my 250w rad runner bike. Biggest criticism is the brakes. They’re discs but I believe mechanical and not hydraulic. Not a great feel and they’re adequate at best. I think you can get hydraulics for £100 extra which I thought I was getting for £1500 so I’d make sure of this before buying.
Was unsure as to the quality and power of the bike but I have to say this was one of the best purchasing decisions I have made! Take it out into the forest near me on de-restricted mode and feel the full power of the 1000w motor. Commute to work and limit it to road legal standards. Beauty of a bike! Thanks Electric Rider, top service.
